Maintenance
Six-monthly inspections check cylinder pressure and weight, actuators, detection, warning signs and the control panel. Annual servicing adds a full functional test and a room integrity test. Cylinders are pressure-tested to the schedule and we manage the paperwork for the transportable pressure equipment regulations.

Which agent should I use in a server room?
Inert gases (IG-541, IG-55, nitrogen) and clean chemical agents (FK-5-1-12) both protect electronics without residue. Inert gas needs more cylinder storage; clean agents need less space but cost more per kilo. We size both and let you compare over a 15-year life including the room integrity requirements.
Why does the room need integrity testing?
A gas system only works if the room holds the concentration for long enough, usually ten minutes. A door fan integrity test to BS EN 15004 Annex E measures the leakage and predicts the hold time. It is required at commissioning and annually.
What about kitchen canopies?
Wet chemical kitchen suppression to LPS 1223 or UL 300 protects the cooking line, canopy and duct, and interlocks with the gas supply. Insurers increasingly require it for commercial kitchens.
