Public bodies buy fire safety through procurement, and procurement asks questions a brochure does not answer: which certification, with what scope, valid until when; what insurance; which policies; what KPIs on the last three similar contracts. This page and the tender evidence library exist to answer those questions before the clarification window opens.

Social value
We are a Midlands employer with Midlands engineers. Social value commitments in our bids are ones we can evidence: apprenticeship places, local recruitment, spend with local suppliers, and community support delivered through the organisations you name.
Questions we are asked in this sector
What accreditations do you hold?
BAFE SP203-1 (design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems, certified by NICEIC), an ECA Technical Compliance Certificate for fire detection and alarm systems to BS 5839, and full membership of the Fire Industry Association. Certificate numbers, scope wording and expiry dates are on our accreditations page and in the tender evidence library.
Can you provide policies and method statements for a PQQ or PSQ?
Yes. Health and safety, environmental, equality and diversity, safeguarding, modern slavery, data protection, information security, quality and business continuity policies, together with generic and task-specific method statements and risk assessments, are available in the tender evidence library on request.
How do you approach social value?
Locally and specifically. Apprenticeships and engineer training in the Midlands, local supply chain spend, community sponsorship, and delivery through the community organisations named in your tender rather than a generic pledge.
