Fire and security systems share cabling routes, power supplies, control rooms and, ideally, a contractor. We design, install and maintain IP CCTV and graded intruder alarm systems so that the building has one helpdesk and one portal for all of its protective systems.
Systems
- IP CCTV with analytics, ANPR and remote viewing; upgrades from analogue.
- Graded intruder alarms to BS EN 50131 and PD 6662, wired and wireless.
- Remote monitoring with video verification and police response where eligible.
- Perimeter detection and external deterrent systems.
- Integration with access control and lockdown.
- Secure remote access for your team with role-based permissions.
Data protection
CCTV records people. We configure retention periods, privacy masking and access controls to match your data protection policy, and provide the technical information you need for your impact assessment and signage.
Frequently asked
What grade of intruder alarm do I need?
Grades 1 to 4 under BS EN 50131 reflect the risk and the expected intruder. Most commercial premises need Grade 2; higher-value or insurer-specified sites need Grade 3. Your insurer will often state the grade and whether monitoring and police response are required.
Do I need to register CCTV?
As a data controller you need a lawful basis, signage, a retention policy and a data protection impact assessment for anything beyond basic use. We help with the technical side: retention settings, privacy masking and secure remote access.
Can one helpdesk cover fire and security?
Yes, and that is the point. One number, one portal, one maintenance schedule for fire alarms, emergency lighting, access control, CCTV and intruder systems.
